| Physical Description | The first thing anyone notices about Cameron Wick is a sense of power and unbridled confidence. The second thing is her hands. She has delicate hands that appear soft but firm with long slender fingers and palms. She is slightly above average in height for woman and is slender with a leanly muscled runners body. Her uniforms are always spotless and crisply in place. Her dark hair which she keeps fairly short so ensure it fits beneath her surgical cap seems to never have a strand out of place. Her eyes are usually intensely focused, whether its on a case beneath her hands or a subordinate standing before her. | |

| Quiet, private and intense are three words that could be used to describe Cameron Wick in a nutshell. She tends to keep to herself as she doesn't make friends easily even with her colleagues. They tend to find her a bit abrasive and often times a down right bitch. She's incredibly devoted to her work which has allowed her to become the highly skilled surgeon she is today. She demands a lot from herself and those who work for her. Cameron feels she must always be on the go, moving physically whenever possible when she's not hovering over a patient. She hates to sit idle for any length of time though the reasons why are debatable. | ||

| Cameron's greatest strength is also her greatest weakness. She lives to operate on patients which has helped her become one of the best Surgeons in Starfleet, but it has also kept her from developing any interpersonal relationships with other people. She has had almost no serious romantic relationships, primarily only casual encounters to satisfy basic needs that arise. She is completely career driven which has kept her from knowing other happiness. | ||

| When Cameron isn't hovering over her latest patient or dealing with the CO duties that she finds mundane she does her best to keep herself physically busy. She works out at least three times a week and sometimes more. She finds sitting idle as a waste of time and doesn't even enjoy reading books unless they are for research on a current case. Her life revolves around her work to a point that a skilled psychologist might deem unhealthy but thus far Cameron has been able to avoid any diagnosis to that effect. | ||

| Born in 2348, Cameron was the second of five children. Her mother was a kind and loving woman who spent most of her time at home with her children. Her father was a stone cold and serious surgeon who instilled upon his brood early on what they were expected to become. They were to be the 19th generation of surgeons within the Wick family and nothing else would be accepted but the best from them. Her brother Benjiman (the IV) was two years her senior and in her fathers eyes had done the unthinkable when during his second year Pre-Med had changed his major to Psychology. Beyond disappointed that his namesake had deserted the family tradition, Benjiman III had all but disowned his oldest child. The pressure had swung full force onto Cameron to keep to tradition and set an example for her three younger siblings. She took the responsibility seriously and followed in her father's footsteps as a surgeon. As her father moved up the ranks of the surgical hierarchy the bar that Cameron must meet also rose. She refused to allow the pressure to get to her and buried herself in her work. She never really gave much thought to what she might be sacrificing to attain her career goals and overlooked the opportunities to find find happiness on a personal level. It's been speculated by several, including her older brother that her career drive is fueled by a need to feel acknowledged and praised by her father. Her younger siblings have also followed into the traditional medical field. Her sister Candice is a Lieutenant serving aboard the USS Cancer as it's Chief Medical Officer. Unfortunately Candice didn't seem to have the same drive to qualify her for surgery as an emphasis but is more than content with being a general practitioner aboard an Intrepid class vessel. Michael is a Lieutenant serving as a Trauma Surgeon aboard the USS Jarvis where Cameron had spent the first four years of her residency. The youngest of her siblings, Paula is in her third year of medical school with her emphasis in surgery. Benjiman IV, Cameron's older brother is serving as Chief Counselor aboard the USS Dutchman and is enjoying his job even though it cost him a relationship with his father. |
